Roland Hartich is a senior software technologist with Eli Lilly and Company, currently leading technical development of a number of eSource solutions in the clinical research domain. In this role, Roland crafts innovative solutions using emerging software technologies, mentors the next generation of technologists and evaluates/prototypes cutting edge technologies for use in the next generation of Eli Lilly clinical research solutions.
During his association with Lilly Mr. Hartich worked with numerous IT teams to pioneer new solution delivery technology use, for example Fuse ESB/Apache Camel, OpenShift/Docker, Heroku, AWS. In addition to Roland’s many Lilly contributions he has designed and implemented complex trading solutions for hedge funds and banking institutions in the EU and Japan.
Originally from Austria, Mr. Hartich holds an Engineer’s Diploma in Informatics from TU Vienna. In his spare time Mr. Hartich tinkers with microprocessors and plays ice hockey.
