The schedule will be published in September.
Just like the US edition in June, the next edition of DevDays will be entirely virtual. No travel required, no restrictions in time and space. So we figured, let’s make life slightly easier for our far-away FHIR friends and expand the European edition to include the Asia-Pacific time zones, covering everything east of Cabo da Roca!
Sessions
The DevDays schedule offers several types of sessions:
- Keynotes: presentations with a motivational goal or expressing a vision for the healthcare technology
- Tutorials: educational presentations, focusing on a specific part of the FHIR specification, FHIR tools, FHIR libraries, or technologies that are directly related to FHIR
- Let’s Build! sessions: hands-on exercises (follow-up to a Tutorial).
- Community Talks: presentations of a real-life FHIR implementation, focusing on best practices and lessons learned
- Startup Pitches: enterpreneurs showing how they seize the opportunities that FHIR offers
- Patient Innovator Pitches: tech-savvy patients presenting their challenges and solutions on how access to health data improved their lives
Call for Presentations
We invite people from all across our community to come up our Zoom stage to share their insights and experiences. Whether you’ve worked on the FHIR spec, one of the FHIR libraries, or are involved in a FHIR implementation project, we want to hear from you!
The deadline for submission of talk proposals is September 1, 2020. More information on the Call for presentations can be found on the Call for Presentations webpage.
